Compassionate Peer Support
You Are Not Alone
At MOMs 2 Recover, we provide specialized peer support for individuals navigating substance use disorders. We understand that the journey of pregnancy and parenting while in recovery is unique, and we believe that no one should have to walk that path alone.
Our guiding from beside you philosophy means we are your equal. We offer a supportive presence that is physically and emotionally available, providing a listening ear and empathetic understanding. This collaborative approach ensures you have a sense of comfort and reassurance, letting you know you are supported throughout your journey.

A Safe, Non-Judgmental Space
We provide a secure environment where you can learn, make mistakes, and grow without fear of criticism or rejection.
03
Online Support Networks
Join our closed Facebook group, Moms on a Mission 2 Recover, to share experiences and seek support from the comfort of your own home.
04
Community Support Groups
Engage in local groups that offer practical assistance, emotional support, and vital connections to community resources.
The Benefits of Peer Connection
Connecting with a peer advocate helps foster personal growth and stability through:
01
Shared Responsibility
We engage in open discussions and involve you in decision-making processes, considering your input and preferences.
02
Encouraging Self-Reflection
By asking thought-provoking questions, we help you gain insights into your own thoughts and motivations.
03
Empowerment through Information
We offer relevant resources and educational materials to empower you to make informed choices for yourself and your family.
04
Goal Setting and Accountability
We assist you in setting achievable goals and providing gentle accountability to help you stay motivated.
Peer Recovery Services (PRSS) are non-clinical, strengths-based, and person-centered supports provided by individuals with lived experience in mental health or substance use recovery. These trained professionals—often called peer specialists or coaches—use their personal experience to foster hope, provide mentoring, aid in skill-building, and assist others in achieving sustained recovery and wellness.
